March Monthly Faves

Hi y’all! I’m back with some monthly faves ! I can’t believe that is already April–like how did that happen?! Anyways, I figured I’d hop on here and share some of my favorites over the last month!

I’ll start off with three skincare items that I have been loving! The first is a drug store find, the Garnier SkinActive 3-in-1 Face Moisturizer with Rose Water. Y’all know I’m a sucker for rose scented products! This claims to be a day and night moisturizer AND a mask. Now I can’t speak for the mask performance, I have been loving it as a day time moisturizer. It is a bit thicker in consistency, so it provides me with more hydration, but absorbs into the skin rather quickly. As far as a night time moisturizer I find that I like to layer an oil on top for a bit more hydration.

The next skincare fave that I’ve been enjoying is the FarmacyGreen Screen Daily Environmental Protector Broad Spectrum Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 with Echinacea GreenEnvy™ (wow that is a mouthful). This is a natural SPF that is lightweight enough to use over your moisturizer, which is what I typically look for in an SPF. Also, I love Echinacea tea when I’m sick, I swear it cures me! So I can only imagine the skincare benefits it provides. I love that I can use this under my makeup and doesn’t leave a white cast if I decide to go faceless.

I also jumped on the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask bandwagon, and I’m glad I did! This mask is super lovely to use 1 to 2 times a week. I don’t find that this leaves my skin very plump the next day, but it does feel hydrated and even-toned. I love using a serum or an oil under this for a boost of hydration.

Now on to makeup faves! I’ll start with this little gem I tried from Wet n Wild, it is the MegaGlow Contouring Powder! This little duo is such a deal and is cruelty free, which I love. The yellow toned power is SO finely milled and sets my under eye concealer like a dream! The only down side to this collection, is the color range. I’m pretty fair, sometimes I dabble in the “light” section of foundations. However, this contour shade is a bit too dark. I can make it work, but it is a little warm in undertone and I have to tap off 90% of the product. However, I will say it blends out like a dream. I’m hoping once I have some color this spring/summer it will be just right.

Milani Strobelight Instant Glow Powder in the shade Day Glow.

Y’all know I love me a good fuchsia lippie, and I know you’ve head me talk about the Pat McGrath Labs LuxeTrance Lipstick in Ultraness-it’s my jam! I can’t put this cool toned magenta down! I think this is the perfect spring and summer lippie and totally pulls me together when I don’t feel like putting much effort into my makeup routine. This is super pigmented, creamy, and doesn’t dry my lips out!

I’ve been testing out some new blushes this month and stumbled on this in my collection, the Laura Geller Baked Blush N Bright in Tropic Hues. I received this in an ispy or birch box, but had never used it. Man have I been missing out! This is a beautiful coral-pink with a bit of bronze hues. I love that it has a bit of sheen so it makes my skin look super healthy and dewy. You can def layer this for a bold flush!

Last, but not least for makeup, another highlighter-cuz I’m that extra. I’ve been enjoying this Colourpop Super Shock Highlighter in Wisp. This formula is so buttery, smooth, and creamy, but is still a powder. I still can’t wrap my mind around it! This shade claims to be a champagne with gold tones, but I think is right between a gold and champagne. I like to use this over a liquid highlighter, alone, or on top of another highlight just at the top of my cheek bones, for an extra pop.

I figured I would include a fragrance I haven’t put down all month-the Wildfox Eau de Parfum. I talked about this in last week’s blog, I’ll link it here if you are interested. I just love the packaging and the scent, it makes me feel super luxe and glam!

What have y’all been loving for the month of March?!

  1. Thanks for covering face masks. There are so many on the market, at times, it is difficult to decide on one.
